Welcome to Joy in the Morning. a unique space I created for you to rest your mind and renew your spirit. I am once again honored to spend time with you. So glad that you came to visit.
When I write, I like to sit in my favorite wicker chair on our screened porch and just rest a while waiting for the cares and stresses of my hectic life to rock away. I always pause and breathe and allow God to speak to me and give me a word of wisdom to share. Psalm 46:10 speaks to my heart and tells me to, "Be still, and know that I am God."

" Jesus said, "When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, my Father in heaven goes into action. And when two or three are together because of me, you can be sure I'll be there"(Matt. 18:20 Msg).
It is my prayer that you will join me on the porch for a moment with our Father. Read one of my "Joy in the Morning" letters and just sit with the message for a bit. Then, if you choose, get out your own personal journal and select the "Points to Ponder" tab, select a question and put your thoughts on paper. You have all the answers to any problem within you just waiting to surface. I have also written some prayers for you if you are having difficulty putting your needs into words.

The wind rustling through the leaves of our old oak tree remind me of the breath of God's Spirit seeking to awaken my soul to the Holy surrounding and infilling me. And the whisper of the fountain streaming reminds me of God's cleansing and refreshing grace, and I feel my body calm and my muscles release their tight grip on my need to control. It is at this moment of stillness that I hear the Divine whisper my name. Sit, relax, and rest a bit. May you hear His Voice and find grace, peace, and joy in this holy moment on this Sacred Space.
