Renewal

2021: A Year of Renewal

 Happy New Year Dear Friend,
        Each year most of us make new year resolutions.  Usually, those resolutions are broken by February.  I like the latest trend which is to select a “word” as a guiding principle.  The word that keeps resounding in my mind is “renewal.”   My scripture reference is Isaiah 40:31 “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.”  I am ready to run and not be weary. 

                                                                              R. E. N. E. W.
                                                                             Rekindle the flame
                                                                             Empty myself
                                                                             Notice what God says
                                                                             Enter His presence
                                                                            Worship the Lord

        Let me ask you, “what do these phrases mean to you?”  Do you need renewal in any of these areas?
