Good morning sweet one,
Paul was a man of prayer. His Christian life began in prayer (Acts 9:10). He prayed for himself (2 Corinthians 12:7-9) and he asked others to pray for him (Ephesians 6:18). In addition, he practiced intercessory prayer, praying for others, like his Lord (John 17:9). Like Paul, we may pray alone; but there is a special power in united prayer. As many of you know, I am going through a health challenge and I yearn for your prayers. However, we should understand that others are going through dark valleys of financial difficulties, relationship heartbreaks, and their own physical and emotional trials. Paul prayed that Christians have these characteristics: patience, joy, and endurance that they may endure in the face of fierce tests and might do so with a gentle and loving spirit, and that they may be filled with joy. Friends, don’t give up on joy. Count your bountiful blessings. Below is my daily prayer. I would be honored if you would pray this morning prayer with me.
Lord,
Please strengthen what is weak in me,
Mend what is broken in me,
Heal what is sick in me.
This is my prayer for me, and all who are dear to me. Amen You are dear to my heart, Linda
